Support Group
Affordable Online Support Groups, based in Canada – access anywhere online
Creativity support group for professionals wanting to reconnect to joy and inspiration and recovering artists who are seeking a safe refuge to work through their fears and internalized blocks.
Step into a supportive online community designed to spark your creativity and nurture your personal growth. Our Artist’s Way Support Group, inspired by Julia Cameron’s internationally renowned book, is open to participants from Vancouver, BC and across all provinces in Canada ( we welcome those night owls out East, hehe ).
Together, we work through The Artist’s Way practices — journaling, morning pages, and weekly creative check-ins — in a welcoming and non-judgmental space. This is a support group, not a therapy group:
Support Group: A community where members encourage one another, share insights, and hold each other accountable as they explore creativity and life transitions.
Therapy Group: A clinical counselling environment led by a therapist to treat specific mental health concerns.
Our group is designed for artists, professionals, students, and anyone seeking creative renewal. You don’t need to be technically “making art” . More of the focus is on radical self honesty, elements of resilient mindset and post-traumatic growth. It’s a safe place to understand and move past creative blocks, restore confidence, and rediscover joy in expression — while connecting with others on the same path.
Who Can Join
Participants who have followed our initial consult and have agreed to our Ground Rules of Belonging are welcome from anywhere in Canada — whether you live in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, or beyond. Because the group is online, all you need is a stable internet connection and a copy of The Artist’s Way.
Invitation
If you’re looking for a safe authentic connection, a gentle prompts, inspiration, or collective solidarity as you work through The Artist’s Way, this group is for you. We’d love to have you join us in our next session and connect with a cross-Canada community of creatives.
